Description:	Participants will learn to implement Rite Flight: A Classroom Reading Rate program developed by Scottish Rite For Children. The program can be used as supplemental or intervention instruction by classroom teachers, reading specialists, and special education teachers for students in grades one through eight. It can be used with students individually, in classrooms or small groups. Rite Flight Rate differs from basic reading fluency instruction by using a method of instruction designed to promote the recognition of letter clusters within words. Students follow a repeated reading schedule that introduces the same words in isolation, then phrases, and finally, in stories.
