Annual Membership - Here's What You Need to Know


RENEWAL CYCLE: ALTA's membership is a traditional calendar year (January 1-December 31).

REQUIREMENTS FOR 2025 RENEWAL:

  • Continuing Education Hours
    • ALTA’s continuing education requirements for 2024 Membership Renewal will be 10 CEs for the calendar year January - December.
    • Exceptions
      • New Members to ALTA - if you were a new member in 2024, you are not required to meet the CE requirement for the current recording period. If you attended and received CEs in 2024, you may record and carry over to the next recording period.

  • Fees
      • Trainee: $35
      • CALT, CALT-C, and CALP: $100
      • ICALP and CALT-QI: $125

DEADLINES:

As always, we encourage ALTA members to record their CEs as they get them to avoid delays. A guideline of dates is provided below:

  • December 15, 2024: Recommended deadline to complete recording of ALL CEs for 2024. This will allow our CE Committee time to review and approve before renewal opens. 
  • January 1-31, 2025:  Renewal period
  • February 1- February 29, 2025: Grace period, incur 20% late fee
  • March 1, 2025 +: Membership will become "lapsed"

*In observation of the holidays, our CE Committee will not be reviewing CEs during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weeks.
