Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia Refresher Course

If you are a Take Flight trained CALT and have questions or want to ‘re-calibrate’ with the essentials of Take Flight intervention, this one-day course is for you!

Participants will review the following:

Lesson Cycles and Pacing
Automaticity procedures
Demonstrations of New Learning and Decoding
Spelling Procedures for One Syllable Base Words, Two or More Syllable Base Words, and Derivatives
Updates to Curriculum

Important Session Information:

In order to take this course, participants must provide proof of completed training in the Take Flight dyslexia program and their proof of their CALT status. Please submit documentation to Lindsay Olsen at lindsay.olsen@esc12.net before registering. She will notify you that you are approved to register.

Participants will need to bring their Take Flight Teacher Books 1-7 and Comprehension Book with them to ESC Region 12 on the day of the session.
