Description:	The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Elementary Education and Reading, Division of Literacy, is announcing an opportunity for first year teachers who have not successfully completed the Reading Foundations test and/or Pre-Service teachers to participate in an asynchronous training course titled *Pathways to Proficient Reading- Educator Preparation.* Each session will be engaging and applicable to all areas of literacy. This training will support first year teachers and future educators in furthering their ability to apply the Science of Reading, while supporting Mississippi's mission to prepare students to compete in a global community.
