Description: Session 2: From Data to Action – Sample Reports and Special Education Goal Development

In this session, participants will learn how to translate assessment findings into clear, professional evaluation reports that reflect the student's strengths and needs. Sample dysgraphia reports will be reviewed to model how to summarize data, provide diagnostic justification, and make instructional recommendations. The session will also focus on writing high-quality, individualized education plan (IEP) goals for students with dysgraphia. Participants will practice craftinÅg specific, measurable goals that address areas such as handwriting legibility, spelling accuracy, sentence structure, and written organization. Tools and templates for goal writing and progress monitoring will be provided. Presented by Cynthia Riggs, M.Ed., LDT, CALT, Lead Diagnostician, HEBISD.
