Description:	This 2-day training is designed to teach multisensory math techniques to math instructors, teachers, tutors, academic language therapists and practitioners. The multisensory math strategies and techniques taught in this workshop can be seamlessly integrated with any math curriculum. Multisensory Math stresses the mastery of concepts and computations by integrating multisensory teaching techniques into any math curriculum. The techniques taught in the workshop are designed for K-8th grades. Concrete materials are introduced before paper and pencil tasks and incorporate learning through the senses. V-A-K (Visual-seeing, Auditory-hearing, and Kinesthetic- feeling/touching) is an integral part of multisensory math training and techniques. Workshop highlights include: Digital Multisensory Math Instruction Resource Binder included. Hands on activities in each area of instruction Make & Take Manipulatives & Math Centers Technology integration for math concepts & incorporating math across the curriculum strategies Innovative ways to assess mastery of math concepts Reflection on each area of instruction to provide participants with a “thinking and implementation map” of skills learned Areas of Multisensory Math instruction include: Counting & Numeration Addition & Subtraction Multiplication & Division Fractions Decimals, Percentages, & Money Problem Solving & Word Problems Equations/Equations in Algebra Geometry & Measurement Technology, Math Across the Curriculum, Math Centers
