Description:	This 3-day workshop is designed to teach multi-sensory math techniques to math instructors, classroom teachers, tutors academic language therapists, and academic language practitioners. The multi-sensory math strategies and techn taught in this workshop can be seamlessly integrated with any math curriculum. Multisensory Math stresses the mastery of concepts and computations by integrating multi-sensory teaching tec into any math curriculum. The techniques taught in the workshop are designed for Kindergarten through Eighth grades. Concrete materials are introduced before paper and pencil tasks and incorporate learning through the senses. V-A-K (Visual-seeing, Auditory-hearing, and Kinesthetic-feeling/touching) is an integral part of multi-sensory math training techniques. Areas of Multisensory Math instruction include: • Counting & Numeration • Addition & Subtraction • Multiplication & Division • Fractions • Decimals, Percentages, & Money • Problem Solving & Word Problems • Equations/Equations in Alge • Geometry & Measurement • Technology, Math Across the Curriculum, Math Centers
