The Virtual Community of Practice meetings are designed to:
Deepen your knowledge related to the science of reading based on the 5 pillars of reading instruction outlined in the National Reading Panel Report (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension).
Strengthen the application of your knowledge by translating the research into practice for your own classroom teaching and coaching activities.
Facilitate the sharing of ideas and best practices between members of your VCoP cohort while building a common language focused on the science of reading.
