CESD's 22nd Annual Texas Dyslexia Conference

The Dyslexia Conference is designed to provide participants with a working knowledge of the issues and concerns arising from educating students with dyslexia. Sessions address methods and strategies to identify dyslexic students, analyze data to determine appropriate services to improve reading skills and provide appropriate compensatory strategies, and sessions on legal compliance to address eligibility of students with dyslexia under state law and federal law (Section 504 and the IDEA). Our goal is for participants to understand the struggles faced by students with dyslexia and have the tools necessary to properly evaluate and serve those students in the public schools.
