SEI Academic Teacher Endorsement Full Course

This course is designed to meet the state requirement for Full SEI endorsement for teachers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A 45-hour course that requires several hours a week of observations, reading, and lesson planning, the course focuses on helping content teachers create appropriate language and content objectives, utilize strategies that will assist teachers in reaching and supporting their EL students, lesson and unit planning for all language learners, and assessing students in all of the domains of second language acquisition. The course concludes with a Capstone Project and successful completers will receive State DESE Endorsement for SEI.
