Description: The 18th Annual RISE conference presented by the Tennessee Branch of the International Dyslexia Association will be held April 4, 2020 at Curry Ingram Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. The morning will include a keynote presentation from Cheryl Ann Chase PhD, Clinical Psychologist, followed by a breakout sessions of the attendees choosing.

Cheryl Chase, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Independence, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of various conditions impacting children, adolescents, and young adults including ADHD, Learning Disorders, and emotional concerns. She is an active member of the International Dyslexia Association, the American Psychological Association, and Learning Disabilities Association of America.

Keana Allert is the Center Director at the Lindamood-Bell Learning Center in Memphis, Tennessee.

Zoi A. Traga Philippakos, PhD, is Assistant Professor at the department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education (TPTE) at the College of Education at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Melinda Hirshmannis a Certified Academic Language Practitioner who earned her Ed.D. from Lipscomb University.

Joanna Bivins is the director of school psychology and behavior services at the Tennessee Department of Education.
