Description:

Participants will learn how to implement the Scientific Spelling curriculum (a systematic, explicit,
multisensory approach to teaching spelling).

A review of the Montessori method as it relates to teaching the child who is at risk for reading failure is presented. Normal child development is also addressed to facilitate a better understanding of early indications of potential difficulties.
