A Fellow in the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and educators, Dr. Henry will offer an historical perspective on the field of dyslexia: "When Anna Met Sam: Legend, Lore, and Legacy." Dr. Henry brings more than 55 years of experience working in the field of language acquisition and dyslexia as a tutor, teacher, clinician, professor, and author.

Tammy Diecken has been a certified O.G. tutor since 2001, and the Director of the Masonic Learning Center for Children in Evansville, IN for 13 years. She has continued a tutoring business from her home, and is now enjoying a second business — professional storytelling with her husband, Mike. Together they re-enact history and bring delightful characters to life for all ages. Tammy is an award-winning Toastmaster presenter, and a two-time winner of the local Big Whopper Contest. She writes her own stories, and has greatly enjoyed bringing the human-interest side of Anna Gillingham to life for several conferences centered on dyslexia and reading intervention strategies.
